Song-a-Day Podcast

Hello,

The original purpose of the Song A Day podcast was to write, record, and post a song every day for 100 days. To hear the original one hundred songs, start at July, 2005 , and listen through November, 2005 .

Everything from 2006 onward was done more in the format of a radio show, with a host of ficticious characters hosting.

Despite numerous plastic surgeries, the face of this podcast is looking aged and wrinkled. In addition to this, the RSS Feed seems to have grown old too and is currently not functioning (Alzheimer’s perhaps). So, with all of these things considered, I have decided to put this podcast to sleep. Hopefully in the near future, I will start another podcast, although it will most likely not be a chronicle of my home recordings.

Lot’s of Christmas stuff happening this year. I got to play a sold out show at the Cradle, the Annual Evil Wiener show is on Friday, December 22, I played guitar in a musical called the Christmas letters, and in the midst of all this RECORDED A BUNCH OF COOL CHRISTMAS SONGS! I hope you enjoy this!

The music on this podcast consists of a lot of stuff I recorded over the summer and fall and forgot about. I came across all of it piece meal as I was cleaning out my hard drive, and just couldn’t justify keeping most of it considering all of the space it took up. Sooo, I bounced it all down and bundled it together for this podcast.

I also ramble on and on about Garmonbozia, Dexter Romweber, Crowe Meat Bob and give props to a podcast called “Decoder Ring Theatre”.

Hey Folks,

Well, I fought the good fight. I tried to have a podcast that emulated old time radio drama, but as fate would have it, these aren’t old times. So, I decided to get hip and try doing things the way the other kids are doing them. The podcast still features songs written by me, and mostly recorded at home, but does not feature Elves, Castles, French Maids or Hillbilly cousins.

Although not my original vision, the podcast was incredibly easy to do and ended up being fun in a very low key kind of way.
